Scraping For Change (also known as SFC) is a Bay Area based rock band. The band formed in Belmont, California in 2003. Vocalist Anthony Andrade, Jr., guitarist Sterling Selover, bassist Manny Gonzalez and drummer Joe Szulkowski.

Scraping For Change made their debut on Notre Dame de Namur University's college campus in the spring of 2004. They played their first concert as Scraping For Change with Selover, Andrade, Jr., Gonzalez, Lovero and brought in Tim Urbanski to play drums.

The band went back into the studio to record demo tracks as a four piece with a studio drummer. Later they called on long-time friend and drummer, Joe Szulkowski to join the band and to complete the demo sessions.

In the summer of 2004, Scraping For Change went into Sparks Studios in Emeryville, California to work on their debut album, Heartaches and Danger. They worked with Kirk Casey and Tim Gorman (who has worked with The Who, The Rolling Stones, and others). They released their debut album in August 2004.

"Crazy Mary" and "Neverending Blue," tracks off Heartaches and Danger hit the airwaves in Indonesia on rock radio station Prambors 102.2 FM in November 2006.
